Getting internet to a remote site

Where fixed broadband is unavailable, a cellular router with a managed SIM gives a site internet over the mobile network.

  • Teltonika RUT200: compact 4G for small remote sites with CCTV, gates or alarms.
  • Teltonika RUT956: dual SIM, GNSS, serial interfaces and industrial inputs and outputs for advanced or industrial sites.
  • Teltonika RUTM51: industrial 5G for remote offices and temporary sites that need higher speeds.

Before you buy

  1. Check signal at the site. See weak or no network.
  2. Estimate the data the equipment will use. Video uses far more than most equipment. See CCTV router has no internet.
  3. Choose a SIM plan for that use. See pricing, and APN setup if the router needs the APN entered by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get internet at a site with no broadband?

A cellular router with a managed SIM gives the site internet over the mobile network. Choose the router by the equipment it must serve and the data it will use, and check signal at the site first.
